Brady Bunch Flip

My partner and I were looking for a smaller project that needed some love. We found this nice townhouse in a central but quiet location. It was clear that with some love and attention we could get a modern, open space that any young couple, professional or empty-nesters would enjoy.

The biggest transformation was to the main living space. By opening all the walls and moving the kitchen space back, we were able to create more usable space and more flow in the common space. In addition, we updated the bathrooms to match.

My favorite part of this project was the custom island. I created the top to mimic a butcher block. Word to the wise, those things are heavy.

By the way, the name: Brady Bunch Flip, that's indicative of when the last finishes were put in this townhouse. Shag carpeting for days!
